Use Case #1:
On September 26th 2018, the Kinasang-ang Foundation signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with the HTMLCoin Foundation.
The Kinasang’an Foundation has partnered with the technology company HTMLCoin LLC to utilize one of their products, MyOffspring. The Althash Blockchain is currently introducing blockchain technology to non-profit organizations in the Philippines. The importance of this partnership is the establishment and use of blockchain technology among non-profits in the country.
On a blockchain, transactions are recorded chronologically to form an immutable chain. This can be private or public depending on how the technology is implemented.
The ledger is distributed across many participants in the network — it doesn’t exist in just one place and is therefore decentralized. Copies exist and are simultaneously updated among every full node in the ecosystem. This has massive potential for non-profit organizations.
The purpose of the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was to formally create a mutually beneficial working relationship between the HTMLCoin Foundation and Kinasang’an Foundation.
Two core team members of the HTMLCoin Foundation, Edgar Tuliao and Dr. Vince Vicente traveled to the Philippines in early February 2019 to finalize, implement and train staff on the Myoffspring DApp in their hospital clinics.
